Dr. Fitch obtained his Medical Doctorate at the Brody School of Medicine in North Carolina and completed his Family Medicine residency in South Carolina. Prior to moving to Missouri, he practiced medicine in Alaska for several years where he was deeply involved in community improvement and health education.
Dr. Fitch is a nationally known as one of America’s experts in lifelong optimized living. Dr. Fitch’s philosophy for a balanced lifestyle has been a major inspiration for his career. He is passionate about educating patients about the effects of chronic health conditions and restoring daily happiness and function. He has several years of educating patients about cannabis and health optimization, and he is excited to bring this experience to patients in Missouri. When not in the clinic, Dr. Fitch enjoys spending time with his family and is an instructor for both latin dance and snowboarding
Dr. Fitch practices wellness and family medicine in Oklahoma, where he incorporates nutrition, hormone balance, fitness and permanent weight control. His degree is in Family Medicine with certifications in spinal trauma, fascial manipulation, and functional endocrinology. Other specialties of practice include sports medicine and ob-gyn.
Dr. River is from a small town in rural Iowa. She studied biology and English at Iowa State University, and completed her Medical Doctorate and Master of Public Health degrees at the University of Iowa. After medical school she completed an emergency medicine residency at the University of Arizona. Having seen the devastation caused by widespread opiate and prescription drug use, she became interested in cannabis medicine as an adjunct to current standard medical treatment. After having treated many patients using cannabis for health improvement in Oregon, Dr. River returned to the midwest where she practices emergency medicine and cannabis medicine, educating patients about safe and effective health management options. Her interests include public health, health education, lifestyle medicine, and event medicine. She currently works as a drag race track physician and is a member of the Society of Cannabis Clinicians. In her free time Dr. River enjoys drag racing, gardening, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family
